Racism and anti-semitism

France brought black's from Africa to fight against Germany as slaves other wise they would be sent to do labour work. Black people were not aloud to even register for the war until a year after it started, when they were aloud to register and they got into the war they were placed into segregated units. The government made it so that they could not be armed when going into war which left them with the dirty work. This mean that they were only aloud to dig trenches, load amminition, and lay telephone wires. It was concidered uncivilized to have blacks fighting. In this time, people considered blacks to be closer to animals than humans. This is what changed the future for Africian Americans as we know it. From that point on blacks were discriminated against less and less. During the war there wasn't only descrimination against blacks but also Jews. While the war took place many different myths about Jews went around including Jews started ww1 to ruin Europes financials.
